"To communicate ideas through making, to nurture the symbiotic relationship of teaching and learning, and to gain a broader understanding of the world through dedication to these two things are my most important goals."

I am a ceramist and former editor (2014-2019) of Studio Potter journal, a semi-annual publication and independent non-profit organization, founded in 1972 and dedicated to the ceramic arts. I hold a BFA from Southeast Missouri State University, and a MFA from State University of New York, New Paltz. I currently live and work in Northampton, Massachusetts.
